Paytero does not bypass provider restrictions. It helps lawful merchants create clear payment requests, route customers to independent providers and keep a verifiable event trail. Prohibited goods, fraud and sanctions evasion are never supported.
Practical answers, without fine-print theatre.
01Can high-risk businesses create payment links?+
Paytero is designed for lawful online businesses that can be difficult to place with traditional processors. Every checkout route still applies its own location, product, compliance, and transaction rules, so acceptance is not guaranteed for prohibited activity.
02Can a customer pay by card?+
Available PayGate routes can include card and local payment providers. The options shown at checkout depend on the customer location, amount, currency, and live provider availability.
03Where is settlement sent?+
The primary payment-link flow settles USDC on Polygon to the self-custodial EVM wallet you provide. Some provider routes can support other documented assets or networks; always confirm the route before sharing a link.
04Will the customer need verification?+
Possibly. A provider may ask the customer for identity, payment, or source-of-funds checks. Many checks finish within minutes, but timing is controlled by the provider and cannot be guaranteed.
05How do fees work?+
Paytero shows the link amount and optional customer-paid service fee before creation. Provider conversion, processing, or network costs may still affect final settlement and are displayed by the provider when applicable.
06Do payment proceeds automatically fund a virtual card?+
No. PayGate payment links and reloadable virtual cards use separate funding flows. Cards use their own browser-held PayGate session and recovery token.
